Artist and stage designer Lilla Gergely-Farnos’s work does not use traditional sculpture material. Rather her interests lie in the essence of common objects and materials which we see as integral to our wellbeing. Looking to change the audiences perception of art she works with creating atmospheres that alter the viewers sense of space and dimension. Installations that offer the sense of fragility and feeling her work not only looks at what can be shaped but how she is shaped throughout her artistic practise. Her relationship with reflection in her practise is found mirrored in her art, where focus and attention lends itself to the reflection of the object or installation itself.
